A combination of half encapsulation half smoothie can be provided upon request for the regular cost of encapsulation.
The practice of taking in the placenta although ancient is only now being appreciated and praised by the scientific/medical community. The placenta holds abundant nutrients and hormones that help return postpartum body back to a state of balance in a natural and recognizable fashion for the body. Some of the benefits include:

I use either the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Method or the Raw method depending on my your preferences.
In TCM it is believed that labor and delivery leaves you with a cold empty space (yin) and needs to be balanced by warm/hot herbs (yang) and so the steaming of the placenta with lemon, ginger and chili helps nourish mother and stimulate circulation and healing in the postpartum period.
With the Raw Method, I prepare the placenta using temperatures under 118 degrees and it's believed that this method preserves more of the nutrients and hormones that the postpartum body needs to restore balance after delivery.
I use veggie caps for both methods.
